The Peninsulas at Lake Bob Sandlin
The Peninsulas at Lake Bob Sandlin is a 163 acre gated lake community located in East Texas on Lake Bob Sandlin. This 9,400 acre lake offers miles of state and county parks that wind around the lakes scenic shoreline. The community provides security through a 24 hour a day manned gatehouse.
Lake Bob Sandlin offers plenty of activities including fishing, boating and water sports such as wakeboarding and skiing. All the properties in the community are lakefront with easements for the construction of docks and boathouses. There are no restrictions on boat sizes as well.

The fishing in Lake Bob Sandlin has some of the best fishing in all of Texas. With an abundance of largemouth, white and spotted bass, catfish, crappie, and sunfish, fishing tournaments are routinely held which brings in professional and amateur anglers from all over the Southwest.
The community also features a private 10 acre lake within the community. Other lakes in the area include Lake of the Pines and Cypress Springs. Many of the surrounding lakes provide public boat ramps and access.
The community offers a Beach Club which has a private beach along the lake shoreline, a swimming pool, outdoor grill, community docks, and a lounge area. The Pavilion that is conveniently located next to the pool is great for holding family get-togethers or corporate events.
The lake is not the only thing to enjoy at the Peninsulas. The community offers plenty of hiking and mountain biking paths and trails. There are several public and private golf courses within 30 miles of the community for the avid golfer.
The Peninsulas is conveniently located in East Texas near several small towns with charisma and character like Mt. Pleasant which has been named one of the 100 best small towns in America and Mt. Vernon which is home of the largest and oldest flea market in the world.
Mid sized towns like Tyler and Canton offer plenty of restaurants and shopping options. Dallas-Fort Worth is a mere 90 miles away which offers many attractions and professional sporting events like the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and Texas Rangers just to name a few.
